Sulphur Cauldron/Hayden Valley - Yellowstone National Park

You can smell the sulphur cauldron from miles away, it was actually our first impression of the park when we arrived the night before.

Across and not far down the road heading North, the Hayden Valley was a nightly gathering area for tourists that wanted to see wildlife as it came out to feed. We always had to be on the lookout for cars that would stop in the road to catch a glimpse of something.
