Today, Cathy and I went over to the Aurora Audubon Nature Center to preplan her summer workshop with some Cleveland area 6th graders. This Nature Center has a lot of activities for kids of all ages, and her students will have a great time there in July.

On school mornings, JA likes to get up the same time as CJ (6am) even though his bus doesn't come until after 8. Most mornings he can be found here after getting up taking his early morning nap.
Here are a couple of favorite shots from yesterday's game. It was a nice bright day which helped me be able to shoot at a low ISO (280) and high shutter speed (1/1500 or so).
Yesterday, JA pulled his groin muscle while bike riding and this morning could barely walk. He has spent the day at home today watching tv, and this afternoon we just finished 2 book reports that he has due this week.
He is feeling a lot better now and will be back in school tomorrow.
The other day I bought the newest edition to my photography equipment - a Nikon 50mm f1.4D lens. The light gathering ability of this lens will enable me to be able to use existing light more on inside pictures, and not have to rely on the flash as much (or only for fill).
